"Hi Effectionados,

Welcome to what will soon be one of the most useful Mechanical Effects Sites on the web.

"Mechanical Effects" take place in the real world, live, in front of the camera. And there's nothing "virtual" about the dangers these "real" special effects can pose to cast and crew.

Explosions, bullet hits, rain, snow, fog, flood, fire, smoke, breakaway glass, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, electromechanical rigs and table top gadgets all fall into this category---practically anything that moves in front of the camera without the benefit of DNA.

This site is about providing ways to achieve professional results with less dangerous and far less legally prohibitive special effects devices.

New ways of doing things and new products to do them.

Our mission is twofold:

---Provide low-budget and 'wannabe' film-makers access to high production value special effects without the prohibitive dangers.
---Give professional special effects people techniques to avoid bureaucratic nightmares both at home and when working overseas during these sensitive times.

We opened up this July with a 'bare bones' presence to give the search engines a chance to find us. More is coming soon.

Keep checking back with us as we grow and the new special effects products come on line.
We think you'll be glad you did."
